My Story

“How long have you been doing what you do, and how did you become a health coach?”

To answer this question, it’s probably best that I share with you the story of my own health that brought me to where I am today — coaching women like you on exactly what to do to take control of their health, work with their biology, and feel better. That defining moment in my life happened in 2017.

My health hit rock bottom, and I didn’t even know it.

I had just graduated college as a double major — physics and math. In the year leading up to May 2017, I worked a prestigious internship isolated and far from home, got certified as a POP Pilates instructor and trained for and ran a marathon. I traveled internationally. My coursework in school had ramped up big time.

I had a LOT on my plate that was extremely physically and mentally demanding.

But I made it to graduation….

And I was BURNED OUT.

At a low point, I woke up one day to realize that I was sleeping 8 pm to 8 am every night that summer and was exhausted by 8 pm the next night. I didn’t have the energy to get off the couch, much less to go campus for my grad school responsibilities.

I thought I was healthy. I thought I had healthy eating habits. I was exercising. For goodness sakes, I had just run a marathon!

But I wasn’t healthy. My mental health was suffering. I had too much on my plate. I was overexerting myself physically and emotionally. And I had terrible anxiety.

While reading Hashimoto’s Protocol by Dr. Izabella Wentz, it became crystal clear to me. I had adrenal fatigue.

I started digging for answers. I cleaned up my diet after learning that I wasn’t eating as well as I thought I was. I pulled waaaay back on my workouts. I gave myself permission to sleep, to rest. I played a LOT of Zelda with my now-husband and spent hours at the pool. I read books and blogs, studied everything I could get my hands on.

The clean eating & working out wasn’t enough. I started exploring mindset, my environment, relationships, and deepening my spiritual practice.

It didn’t come quickly, but I healed.

I healed my mind and my body. It only came when I connected the dots among all areas of my life and gave myself the time, space, and resources to make the necessary changes.

In the process, my husband, who was diagnosed years ago with a life-threatening autoimmune condition called Grave’s disease — a hyperthyroid hormonal illness — healed, too.

You see, he was making all of these changes with me. Over the course of just a few years, he went from taking 40 mg/day of this really awful medication to 5 mg/day. Then one day in September 2017, he got really sick. And the only thing we could think was that the medication was no longer working for him. He didn’t need it anymore, it was now making him sick, and he stopped taking it.

All the while, his doctor insisted at every appointment that my husband kill his thyroid with radiation and take medication for the rest of his life. Thank God my husband stood up for himself and wouldn’t do it. Because now his hormone levels are fine, he’s not taking meds, and his thyroid is in tact!

I changed my own life and started teaching women how they can do the same. I watched them gain clarity, feel happier, and become empowered in next-level healthy lifestyles! I have since made a commitment to helping other women take back their lives, too, and gain the freedom found in accelerated healing & radical health.

I’ve spoken with so many women and heard their stories. Shared in their struggles. And pushed them to become the best version of themselves. I’m living my dream of making a massive impact in the world while working from anywhere, and I offer a program rooted in individuality, whole-lifestyle wellness, and meeting you where you are at with practices that every transformation-seeking woman needs to adopt in order to reclaim her health and live her best, most radical life.

FAQ

I work with women just like you who are busy moms, working wives, ambitious students, entrepreneurs, and care-taking daughters. These women are driven, successful, and have beautiful lives. However, they had never been taught how to use self-healing practices, dive deeper into new levels of health, or unlock the life of their dreams through health mastery in all facets.

Although we will talk about nutrition and exercise, you have me as a whole-life wellness expert and coach. We’ll take a total lifestyle approach to your healing.

We’ll dig into metaphysical healing — the idea that, as energetic beings, our negative emotions, feelings, and thoughts manifest as physical ailments in the body. We’ll consider every part of your life as contributing to your health, not just your gym habits or nutrition. It’s all connected!

What that means for you is that you get a wise-sage-meets-kick-butt health coach. I’m a straight shooter and won’t beat around the bush with you. You’ll get love, support, and honesty from me.

I’m concerned with how to get your health on track and provide you the skills and tools you need to be successful in the long-term. You may not always like what I have to tell you — but you can be sure everything I say is truth with love. You’ll learn and discover things about yourself as you share your story, struggles, goals, and vision for your future. There is so much wisdom in our own bodies if we can just tune in and listen.

My coaching program is designed for women who are absolutely excited and dead serious about getting radically healthy.

This means no more beating yourself up and saying things like “I can’t do this!” or “Being healthy is too hard!” or “I’ll do it tomorrow…” This program was created for you to accelerate your health to new levels. To make long-term, effective lifestyle changes in a matter of weeks, which will eventually lead you to a personalized, long-term radically healthy life. 

Being a health junkie woman myself, I love working with other women. Women who are committed to discovering the best version of themselves no matter what, who are so super-ready to get going and just want to know exactly which steps to take to get to the next level. I often hear women ask — “Can you help me heal my autoimmunity?” or “Can you help me *insert your goal here*?”

Consider what you’ll do with me to be much less like a visit to the doctor and more like a guided conversation to hear the answers your body is already telling you. You will be expected to take it seriously and show up for yourself consistently. To trust me as your coach and take action. No excuses. No perfection. Just one-foot-in-front-of-the-other progress and a very different way of thinking about health with full support as you work towards your health goals.

Please know I’m selective in who I work with and pick my clients carefully, choosing to (gently) turn away anyone who isn’t suited for my program and won’t get the results for which they would have signed up for. (It wouldn’t be fair to them.)

My program is NOT for those who…

  • Are looking for medical advice for a severe condition.
  • Want a quick fix to a health problem.
  • Aren’t willing to make changes to their lifestyle.
  • Aren’t willing to invest in their health.
  • Don’t understand why health is important.
  • Make excuses instead of taking action.

It’s been my experience that people who are looking for a quick fix don’t respect the time they spent developing toxic habits or an unhealthy lifestyle which came with negative consequences. Healing & integration takes time. If you fall in this category, I totally understand. It’s a big perspective shift to think about your health differently. If you’re looking to lose weight, have more energy, or even reverse a disease, the practices I teach can help point you in the direction of massive, long-term healing. Do the work. Put in the time, energy, and effort. Show up for yourself every single day. Be committed to making the necessary changes to change your life. Understand that this is a process, based in science, but it does take patience. I’ve seen people totally turn their lives around by making simple shifts in their lives, but you have to stick with it.
